Obedience Instructor/Dog Trainer – Claremont WA

Must be experienced in conducting obedience classes at all levels (puppies to advanced) and dealing with all behavioural issues.

Great opportunity to run your own classes and work directly with clients to modify behaviours and improve owner’s and dog’s lives.

Must be responsible, reliable, confident and be willing to take on the role as your own.

Responsibilities include:

Conducting Obedience Classes, Providing Advice on Behavioural Issues, In-home Behaviour Consultations, Behavioural Assessments & Training Recommendations, Set Up and Pack Down of Equipment for Classes, Conduct Agility During Classes, Keep Accurate Records of Dog Attendance, Complex Skills and Clicker Training Experience an Advantage.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years experience in the above responsibilities.
  • Minimum Cert III in Dog Behaviour & Training (NDTF).
  • Own vehicle to transport equipment.
  • Excellent dog handling skills and training experience with most breeds.
  • Excellent communication skills with both Clients and Directors.

Some training provided.

Northern Suburbs, Perth based.
